BLOGFEST: Class of 2k14 is Thankful For…

This year, I have a lot to be thankful for.  Let’s face it, EVERY year I have a lot to be thankful for!

To celebrate Thanksgiving, the members of the The Class of 2k14 decided to have a mini-blogfest.  You can find out what the rest of my classmates are thankful for this year at the class website!

As for me, I can’t contain myself to just one thing.  So, I’m going with a list!  (You might be seeing a lot of lists out of me in the coming months.  The main character of next book, TOP TEN CLUES YOU’RE CLUELESS, has a habit of making lists and after spending so much time with her, I just can’t seem to stop myself!!)

I’m Thankful For…

  1. The opportunity to be part of the Class of 2k14!  So far, we’re shaping up to be a pretty fantastic class, if I do say so myself.  From glowing Kirkus reviews to Most Anticipated Book Lists, these amazing ladies have created an outstanding group of books and I am so proud to be in such great company!
  2. The team at Harper Collins who has made the process leading up to my debut as painless as possible.  I feel like I won the publishing lottery!
  3. My agent, Laura Bradford, who continues to work her butt off for me!  I wish her tasty treats and pleasure reading for the holiday.
  4. The friends and family who keep me excited about my upcoming book birthday even when I’m deep in the No-One-Is-Going-To-Read-This-and-Those-That-Do-Will-Hate-It-and-I-Will-Die-in-an-Internet-Flame-War-by-April zone.
  5. The YA Community both on-line and in-person who make me laugh, send encouragement when needed, and keep writing the most amazing books on earth!!
  6. Cheese.  I’m deeply grateful for cheese.  It’s the Wisconsinite in me.
